CLEC2A (C-type lectin domain family 2 member A), also known as PILAR (proliferation-induced lymphocyte-associated receptor) is involved in modulating T-cell expansion. It is a 32 kDa single-pass type II membrane protein that contains one C-type lectin domain in its extracellular region and belongs to the CTL/CTLD superfamily. CLEC2A is mainly expressed in skin and highly expressed in CD8(+), B lymphocytes and naive CD4(+) T cells. Manipulation of CLEC2A signaling may be important for treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancer.

This preparation results in a native conformation of the protein. Antibodies are isolated from rabbit antiserum and are extensively cross-adsorbed by immunoaffinity purification to produce 'type' specific antibodies. CHD proteins belong to a superfamily of proteins of ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling enzymes that have a unique combination of functional domains, including two N-terminal chromodomains, a SNF2-like ATPase/helicase domain and a DNA-binding domain. These proteins are thought to play a role in early embryonic development by affecting chromatin structure and gene expression. Mutations in one member of this family, CHD7, result in CHARGE syndrome. It colocalizes with embryonic stem (ES) cell master regulators OCT4/POU5F1, SOX2, and NANOG and is thought to modulate ES-specific gene transcription. Together with SOX2, CHD7 has been suggested to also regulate several human disease genes.

CENPW was initially identified as a gene that was upregulated in multiple cancers, and whose overexpression in mouse fibroblast cells gave rise to distinct cancer-specific phenotypes. It was later found to be a nuclear protein that associated with CENPT, a component of CENPA nucleosome complex in the centromere, and is required for proper kinetochore function. TRAIL/Apo2L is a new member of the TNF family and induces apoptosis of a variety of tumor cell lines. DR4 and DR5 are the recently identified functional receptors for TRAIL. DDX60 is a DEXD/H Box RNA helicase and the human homolog of the S. cerevisiae Ski2, a cofactor of RNA exosome. Expression of DDX60 increases after viral infection and binds to endogenous RIG-I, a cytoplasmic viral RNA sensor, as well as other RIG-I-like receptors such as MDA5 and LGP2. These proteins activate TBK1 and IKK-e, signaling IRF3 and NF-kB-responsive genes in the innate immune response pathway.
